New for 2026, Francis Mercier Presents Solèy, Mondays from 1st June - 5th October. In his debut residency at Hï Ibiza, Francis Mercier transforms the Theatre into a weekly multicultural and sensory celebration. An evocative realm where the sounds of the Levant, Africa, and the Caribbean collide.
Solèy, which means “sun” in Haitian Creole, is a global community rooted in multiculturalism. Symbolising positivity, radiance and warmth, the music programming connects cultures, sounds, and generations - blending African and Caribbean roots with Arabic, Latin, and European influences. Francis Mercier’s sound is born precisely from this crossroads. Born and raised in Haiti and New York, with a creative output that resonates deeply with Africa and the Middle East.
Now established as a global movement, Solèy has traveled to some of the world’s most iconic locations, from L’Olympia Paris to Ushuaïa Dubai, Zamna Tulum to the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt.
The Solèy experience extends beyond DJ sets, featuring live instruments such as guitar and djembe, and choreographed dance performances woven into the narrative of each event. These performances add layers of cultural, musical, and physical expression to the residency.
“To be able to hold a residency in Ibiza, and most importantly at Hï Ibiza, feels surreal; it feels like a dream come true. It’s also a big cultural statement for me to be able to bring a brand rooted in Caribbean culture, with the sound that it represents, on such a big platform. I’m really excited to introduce new artists, but also to pay homage to legends and artists that have marked the industry and house scene, especially the Afro house scene. It’s going to be a mix of cultures and a mix of generations. It should be something really exciting that hasn’t been done before, with an incorporation of live musicians and dancers that’ll be something quite special.” - Francis Mercier

His creative platform prioritises artistic identity, cultural roots, and emotion over fleeting trends. His globally renowned hits, including “Sauti”, “Premier Gaou (Nitefreak Remix)”, and “Kamili”, as well as his entire discography, have collectively surpassed over 500 million streams. Each release embodies the same philosophy: music deployed to reach all cultures and corners of the world. His last appearance at Hï Ibiza back in 2024 was so impactful and soul-stirring that we released the mix in Spatial Audio on Apple Music.
