BBC Radio 1 Dance X Glitterbox This August

Radio 1 Dance Weekend: Ibiza 2025 showcases Glitterbox at Hï Ibiza on Sunday 3rd August. Bringing you the best house and disco sounds from Ibiza and beyond.

In the Theatre, NYC’s house icon, Roger Sanchez, will take the reins. The “Another Chance” producer and legendary DJ will bring his undeniable groove to Glitterbox. Dan Shake will team up with Myd for a B2B tour de force featuring funk, disco and soul rarities with a cutting-edge style. Detroit’s ‘first lady of wax’ DJ Minx will bring her crate-digging expertise, while Glitterbox favourite Sophie Lloyd will keep the energy sky high.

Globally revered selector Eli Escobar will be in session alongside gospel and soul flavoured house and techno from the mighty Floorplan. Finally genre-blurring DJ Rich Medina will take you on a journey through hip-hop, house, soul, afrobeat, funk, breaks and dance classics.

The infamous Wild Corner will be jumping from start to Finish with Chicago house pioneer Mike Dunn. The world-renowned tastemaker will be joined by new-age renaissance man Joshua Lang.

This season, Glitterbox introduces an edgier and sexier vibe, embracing unapologetic self-expression with a striking new visual identity by London creatives Studio Moross.
